“ We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. Demi made us feel welcome, loved and appreciated with her infectious energy. Noah, our server, was also incredible. He was entertaining and very knowledgeable about the menu. AND LET’S NOT FORGET ABOUT THE CHEF!!! Whomever was in the kitchen did their thing!!!!! The Acadian Pasta, Brussels, and Prey Balls were all delicious. I dreamt about my food the whole night. It was that good! ”
“ Great vibes, awesome service, and the drinks were on point! We tried the Prey balls, brisket devil eggs, oxtail empanadas , salmon, lamb chops, bread pudding and more! They had cigar vendors, and liquor vendors on display tonight. the musician was phenomenal he really kept us engaged! It was pretty busy for a Wednesday night. We definitely had a great time! ”
“ The food at Prey is Phenomenal! We came for Brunch to celebrate a milestone and vibe. I had the Surf and Turf, which were some of the creamiest grits, with the most succulent Oxtails and bbq shrimp. Chef’s kiss. The shrimp was on the side and I was in too deep to add it to my dish. We also shared the crispy fried wings which were EVERYTHING, I need that seasoning recipe! Like TODAY, the wings came as a set of 4 and perfect to pair and share with all the savory dishes. My BF ordered the fried fish and grits and let’s just say, I had it too! 10/10 would recommend!!! TaCarrie was our server, she was very personable and attentive. 5-Star Service! And gave us a chocolate brownie with fruit to help us celebrate, it was the perfect dessert to contrast our savory meal. We came at 11:30 AM Saturday and I loved the small crowd at the start of the day. ”

“ I had the oxtails surf and turf and i must say IMMACULATE *chefs kiss* nicely portioned, tender and seasoned to PERFECTION.. the service was top tier Noah was GREAT very knowledgeable personalble and sweet!! Demi the mgr was AWESOME she came around personally making sure our food was good and we were good!! 10/10 do RECOMMEND!!! ”
“ Second time coming to Prey, and just like the first everything was AMAZING. Our server, TaCarrie, was super attentive and sweet! The atmosphere was great, and the music was perfect. The FOOD was bombbb! Oxtail empanadas, Brussel sprouts, and the Mac and cheese were the highlights, but everything was good. Portions were HUUUUGE. To top it off, Demi (with a heart over the eye) came to ask us about our experience and she was so lovely, great way to end our visit. Will be back just on the service alone! ”
“ This was my first time here and I must say everything was amazing from the food, the atmosphere, the music, the service and the drinks. It’s my birthday and they took great care of us just because . Kalynn was amazing.. she was very attentive and very kind. She came to check on us and brought everything we needed. We ordered oxtail surf and turf, the big cat was great, the fish and shrimp were seasoned and fried to perfection. The Acadian pasta was amazing as well!!! Demi was also amazing. Very welcoming from the time we came and service was fast! I will be back when I return to Houston. We also had the crawfish fondue and the gumbo was spectacular.. ”
“ We had an absolutely delicious meal at PREY! Every dish was bursting with slight Cajun flavor and cooked to perfection. We started with the fried catfish and crawfish etouffee—both were outstanding. The mac & cheese was hands down the best I’ve ever had—creamy, cheesy, and perfectly seasoned. The lamb greens were another highlight—so flavorful and not overly salty like you sometimes find elsewhere. What made our visit extra special was the hospitality. Chef Gerald personally came out to check on our meal, which was such a nice touch. He even prepared a special oxtail dish for us to try since we mentioned we’d never had it before. It was incredible! Fall-off-the-bone tender and served with perfectly cooked cabbage. PREY is a gem. Amazing food, warm atmosphere, and genuine hospitality. We’ll definitely be back! ”
